Memory and Inspiration

The spezieria was the shop where spices, herbs, perfumes, and remedies were sold. Before the modern pharmacy, it was a place of healing and wonder combined. Our perfumer rediscovered its soul in a historic Bologna grocery store, on a rainy afternoon: bergamot and mandarin in the air, sacks of dried herbs, and floral notes rising towards the cedar wood ceiling. Ambergris and Musks: the scent of ancient wisdom that still heals.
